The present disclosure relates to a hybrid forklift system for improving fuel efficiency. The hybrid forklift system includes an engine which generates a power and has an engine controller; a generating motor which is connected to an output axle and has a generation controller; a hydraulic pump connected to the output axle of the generating motor; a main control valve which is connected to the hydraulic pump and adjusts pressure and a flow meter of oil pressure provided from the hydraulic pump to an actuator; a battery which is connected with the generating motor, and inputted with a power from the generating motor or outputs a power from the generating motor or a driving motor, and has a battery controller; and the driving motor which is connected with the battery. The driving motor is separated and formed to each of driving wheel, and controls a driving, a rotation speed and a rotation direction of the driving wheel. Fuel economy is improved through light weight which removes an apparatus such as a transmission used in an engine motor type forklift. Driveline of the forklift is compactly designed by removing an apparatus such as a transmission, and improved with a system layout of the forklift and a degree of freedom of a design.
