PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light deflector capable of generating synthetic light by deflecting each of a plurality of light beams assuming an approximately elliptical section shape, when the light beams assuming the approximately elliptical section shape are used as a light source.SOLUTION: A light deflector includes a light-emitting element that emits light beams assuming an approximately elliptical section shape, and a lens that collects the light beams emitted from the light-emitting element. Characteristically, an optical axis of the light-emitting element and an optical axis of the lens are decentered, and a major axis of the light beam assuming the approximately elliptical section shape is arrayed in a direction orthogonal to the decentered direction, on the lens. |
