PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medium conveying apparatus and a medium processing apparatus which have less inconvenience and capable of conveying a card-shaped medium in a direction crossing a surface of the medium.SOLUTION: There is provided a medium conveying apparatus that is provided for a medium processing apparatus, which applies processing to a card-shaped medium, and conveys the medium. The apparatus comprises a conveyance section, a first conveyance roller, and a second conveyance roller. The conveyance section supports the medium, and conveys the medium between a first position and a second position along a direction crossing a surface of the medium. The first conveyance roller rotates while contacting a surface opposite to the second position of the medium in the state where the medium is positioned at the first position, and conveys the medium in a direction along the surface of the medium. The second conveyance roller rotates while contacting a surface opposite to the first position of the medium in the state where the medium is positioned at the second position, and conveys the medium in a direction along the surface of the medium. |
