<p>Preparing a zinc lithium compound (I), comprises: providing a nitrogen compound (II); reacting (II) with zinc element in the presence of lithium compound to prepare (I); and isolating (I). Preparing a zinc lithium compound of formula (R1R2N-ZnX.LiY1) (I), comprises: providing a nitrogen compound of formula (R1R2N-X) (II); reacting (II) with zinc element in the presence of lithium compound of formula (LiY1) to prepare (I); and isolating (I). Either R1, R2 : alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or their derivatives, aryl, heteroaryl comprising heteroatoms (all optionally substituted) or H; or R1+R2 : cyclic or polymeric structure; X, Y1 : F, Cl, Br, I (all preferred) H, CN, SCN, NCO, HalO n, BF 4, PF 6 or NO n1; n : 3 or 4; Hal : Cl, Br, or I; and n1 : 2 or 3.</p> |
