摘要 FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: method of detecting and selecting hot particles involves placing a sample containing radio nuclides on a substrate, determining presence of hot particles based on detection of radiation therefrom, followed by analysis of the hot particles using a microscope, wherein the substrate used is a plastic scintillator, and the presence and the position of the hot particles are determined by detecting beta-radiation using an electro-optical converter, followed by movement of the sample for analysis thereof with the microscope and extraction of hot particles using a needle for further determination of physical and chemical properties thereof.EFFECT: high rate and efficiency of detecting hot particles, low labour input of the method of detecting hot particles, broader functional capabilities of analysis.1 dwg
