PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a motor which suppresses steel plate vibration in the stator during motor operation, and reduces a vibration level without deteriorating efficiency of the motor. SOLUTION: In the stator in which the steel plate is punched in a prescribed shape, a plurality of steel plates each of which has an integrated tooth part 15 and a yoke part 13 are laminated, the number of magnetic poles is 6, and the number of slots is 9, three or more and six or less groove-like notches 31 are arranged in a region including an outer peripheral side of the yoke part 13 positioned on the outer peripheral side of the tooth part 15, and the notches 31 are disposed so that three center points are not in rotationally symmetrical positions even if the three center points are selected in any manner when the three center points of the tooth part where the notches 31 exist are selected.
