The present invention relates to a suction pipe connecting structure of a ballast tank applied to a side ballast tank of a hull having a space at a lower part and includes: the side ballast tank of the hull having the space at the lower part; and a pipe line connected from a ballast pump and arranged at a lower space of the ballast tank. The ballast tank is connected to the pipe line by an attachable and detachable filtering unit which comprises: a sleeve arranged at a set position of the bottom of the ballast tank; a strainer fixing unit installed on the bottom of the ballast tank positioned at an upper part of the sleeve; the strainer attachably and detachably coupled to the strainer fixing unit; and a reducer coupled to the sleeve and having a flange at an end. By this means, the suction pipe connecting structure of the ballast tank according to an embodiment of the present invention connects the pipe line from the bottom of the ballast tank and, concurrently, installs the separable strainer at an end, thereby capable of preventing abnormal materials from being induced into the ballast tank and the pipe line and, also, assuring the convenience of maintenance according to cleaning or exchanging. Additionally, the present invention may prevent ballast water from remaining on the bottom of the ballast tank, in the case that it is necessary to empty the ballast tank according as the strainer fixing unit is formed with multiple supports bent at a right angle or a cylindrical flange. |
