Rubber or vinyl plastics trim, weather &c. strips 10 are held in position on body flanges A by continuous flexible clips C having U- sectioned portions P (Fig. 8) connected together alternately by narrow portions 20, 22, whose planes lie perpendicular and parallel, respectively, to the plane of symmetry of the portions P. Portions 22 may be formed on the side walls 17 instead of inner walls 19, and portions 20 may be formed on the web of the U-section, or on flanges out-turned from the free ends of walls 19. The seal portion 12 may be omitted when a trim strip only is required. Various arrangements involving only one of the portions 20 and/or 22 joining portions P are also described. |
