PURPOSE: High power transmission waveguide vacuum port apparatus using a post wall is provided to prevent transmission loss by using the electrical separation phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum port maintains the high vacuum state within a waveguide. The vacuum port is placed at the side of the waveguide. The vacuum port is physically connected to the waveguide. Multiple column walls (210,220) electrically separate the vacuum port as an open stub. The multiple column walls are arranged as a cascade inside the vacuum port. |
