<p>The device for freezing the necks of bottles comprises adjoining buckets 3 for supporting vertical bottles 6, neck downwards, a conveyor path 1, in closed circuit, for guiding the buckets 3, a recipient 4, 5 situated under the conveyor path for containing a freezing liquid 8, at least one actuation means for causing the buckets to advance on the conveyor path 1, loading means for installing the bottles in the buckets, unloading means for removing them therefrom, and a refrigeration member for cooling the freezing liquid. The method according to the invention provides for bottles to be conveyed, the necks of which are immersed into a freezing liquid circulating against the direction of forward travel of the bottles. <IMAGE></p> |
