PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of improving current-limiting breaking performance by reducing influence of electromagnetic force which decelerates opening speed of a second movable contactor between the second movable contactor and a flexible lead wire. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker includes a first movable contactor 4 to be open-driven or close-driven interlocking with a switching mechanism, and the second movable contactor 5 arranged parallel to the first movable contactor 4 and urged to a closed pole side by a contact spring 9. The first and second movable contactors are pivotally supported on rotary shafts 4b, 5c at their rear ends, and have contacts 4a, 5a at their front sides. The flexible lead wire 8 wired between the second movable contactor and a power supply side terminal 2 is arranged by being routed lateral side, and a peripheral surface of the flexible lead wire 8 is covered with a magnetic braided wire 10 made from a flexible magnetic shield material.
