PURPOSE: A titanium dioxide photocatalyst of a sponge foam type is provided to enable manufacturing in a bulk size and to improve light catalyst efficiency by including a photocatalyst layer of a sponge foam type having titanium dioxide holes that are connected to one another. CONSTITUTION: A titanium dioxide photocatalyst of a sponge foam type comprises a photocatalyst layer(20) of a sponge foam type and a conductive layer support(10). The photocatalyst layer of a sponge foam type comprises titanium dioxide holes(22). The titanium dioxide holes have an inner diameter in a nanosize and are interconnected. A thickness of the photocatalyst layer of a sponge foam type is 1Mm or less, and an inner diameter of the inner hole is 5 to 100 nm. The conductive layer is formed of PTFE(PolyTetraFluoroEthylene). A manufacturing method of the titanium dioxide photocatalyst of a sponge foam type comprises the steps of: (a) coating a metal titan on one surface of the conductive layer support by using a sputting method; and (b) forming a photocatalyst layer of a sponge foam type by volume expansion while forming titanium dioxide nanopores that are connected to one another by oxide etching on the metal titan through anodizing. |
