A method for preventing the creation of a duplicate identifier according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a definition step of defining rules to create original data, to be encrypted, as an identifier for encryption target data such that the creation of a duplicate identifier for encryption data is prevented while encryption is applied to a field, in which the original data is stored and designated, by using encryption algorithm; a creation step of creating an identifier for encryption target data according to the rules defined in the definition step; and a mapping step of performing the mapping between the identifier, created in the creation step, and encrypted data.
