<p>A hair smoothing and conditioning apparatus comprises a support for a frozen medium, such as ice, hair oil or hair conditioner, to be applied directly to the hair. The support may take the form of two arms 1, spring mounted at one end, with recesses 2 for holding a block of frozen product. Preferably the arm has a hole (4, fig.2) arranged therein, and a lid (5, fig.2) which slides over the recess. Liquid product is poured in through the hole (4, fig2) and the device is put in a freezer so that the product can solidify. The lid (5, fig.2) is removed before the apparatus is used on the hair. Alternatively, a mould may be provided (see figure 5) and a skeleton comb (figure 6) may be placed in the mould which has liquid product therein. This combined device is then placed in the freezer so that the product solidifies around the skeleton comb, which can then be removed from the mould and used to apply frozen product directly to the hair.</p> |
