METHOD FOR MAKING CARTRIDGE USING SCENT DIFFUSION CERAMICS

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a cartridge that uses scented ceramics for a vehicle, which is excellent in scent loading of a carrier, has continuous stability of scent diffusion even in altering environments, and maintains a scent loading capability for a long time. The method for manufacturing a cartridge using scented ceramics comprises the steps of: preparing a first carrier having a hollow pellet structure by mixing raw materials of porous ceramics and additives, followed by kneading, extruding or press-molding, drying, and thermal processing; preparing a second carrier having a honeycomb structure by mixing raw materials of porous ceramics and additives, followed by kneading, extruding or press-molding, drying, and thermal processing; preparing a third carrier having a pad structure by using raw materials of porous ceramics and polymers; inserting an aromatic agent in the pores of the first, second, and third carriers; and packing the first, second, and third carriers inside the body of the cartridge. Thus, the manufactured cartridge is not only excellent in the scent loading of a carrier and exhibits stable and continuous scent diffusing capability within a limited space, but can also control the scent diffusion in a complex, systematic and efficient manner.
