PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine in which the coil end is made compact.SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric machine comprises: a stator 130 having a stator core 132 in which a plurality of slots 420 are formed side by side in the circumferential direction, and a stator coil 138 inserted into the stator core; and a rotor 150 arranged rotatably through a gap to the stator core. The stator coil is configured by connecting a plurality of segment coils 28, each consisting of a conductor of rectangular cross-section shaped into substantially U-shape. The segment coil is provided, at the end thereof, with a connection 800 connected with other segment coil, and the connection has a corner 810. |
