PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the presence and absence of damper action according to the turning direction of a seat in a vehicular seat peripheral structure.SOLUTION: A seat device includes: a seat rotatably fitted to a storing box; and a damper device 83 interposed between the storing box and the seat. The damper device includes: a cylinder 84; a piston 85; a piston rod 86; a male side case 87 which receives the cylinder and is coupled to the cylinder; a female side case 88 which is connected to the piston rod and receives the male side case to move forward and backward; and an energizing member 89 for energizing the male side case in the direction of projecting from the female side case. The female side case is rotatably journaled to the seat, and the male side case constitutes a free end 93 to be brought into sliding contact with a receiver member 55 provided on the storing box.
