PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch the state where the rotation of a buckle unit is regulated to the non-regulated condition regardless of downward force liable to generate in work.SOLUTION: A buckle device 20 for a seat belt includes: a bracket 22 fitted to a vehicle; a buckle unit 50 including a buckle member 52 and a buckle support 54; a shaft member 30 rotatably supporting the buckle support 54; and a rotation regulating member 60. The rotation regulating member 60 is fitted to be movable between a first position and a second position to the shaft member 30. With the rotation regulating member 60 located in the first position, a buckle abut part 73 is abutted on the buckle support 54 to regulate the buckle unit 50 from being rotated in one direction around the shaft member 30, and with the rotation regulating member located in the second position, a bracket abut part 78 is released from abutting on the buckle support 54 to release the rotational regulation on the buckle unit 50 in one direction around the shaft member 30. |
