PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank capable of increasing the capacity of a sludge water storage space according to decrease of an amount of cooling water while balancing the posture of the sludge water storage space even simply and at a low cost, and capable of easily discharging sludge water by utilizing the pressure of the sludge water when treating the recovered sludge water.SOLUTION: A water storage tank 1 comprises: a cooling water/sludge water tank 2; a floating bulkhead plate 3 accommodated in the cooling water/sludge water tank and floating on the cooling water; a waterproof sheet 4 which is provided to range from a top face of the floating bulkhead plate to a top part of the cooling water/sludge water tank, of which side face extends or is bent in response to vertical motion of the floating bulkhead plate, and which divides the cooling water/sludge water tank into a cooling water tank part 2a and a sludge water tank part 2b; and a drain pipe 12 with one end connected to a first drain outlet 11 formed penetrating through the floating bulkhead plate and a bottom part of the waterproof sheet and the other end connected to a second drain outlet 13 provided in a lower part of the cooling water/sludge water tank, for discharging sludge water stored in a storage space 5. |
