PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounded lamp device capable of preventing an electric accident such as electrical shock, and to provide a luminaire on which the lamp device is mounted.SOLUTION: A lamp device 1 includes: a base 2 which has a hollow base body 6 having a bottom plate 11, a ground contact 7 provided on the bottom plate 11 so as to be protruded outward, and a pair of feeding contacts 8, 8 each having a protrusion length L1 different from that of the ground contact 7, and protruded outward from the bottom plate 11 and provided on the bottom plate 11, the pair of feeding contacts 8, 8 being adapted to be connected to an external power supply in the state where the ground contact 7 is grounded; a ground part 23 to which the ground contact 7 is connected; a lighting device 3 having a pair of input parts 24, 24 to which the pair of feeding contacts 8, 8 are connected, respectively, for acting in response to the external power supply supplied to the pair of input parts 24, 24 to output predetermined electric power; and an illuminant 4 having a light-emitting element 37 to be lit on by the lighting device. |
