PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine capable of simply and inexpensively preventing a flammable medium from leaking out and to provide a binary generator with the steam turbine.SOLUTION: A steam turbine comprises: a steam turbine 9 which is rotated by vaporized working fluid (a flammable medium); a seal section 70a which seals a rotation shaft 70 of the steam turbine 9; a vapor extraction section 11 which extracts the working fluid leaked from the seal section 70a; and a combustion chamber 13 where the working fluid introduced from the vapor extraction section 11 is combusted.
