PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device configured to have advantages of a touch pad and a push switch.SOLUTION: An operation input device includes an operating body 2. The operating body 2 includes: an operating body movable part 23 comprising a touch surface area 23a, which is a part of a touch surface 2a; and a movable part driving body which moves the operating body movable part 23 between a touch surface position 23TP where the touch surface area 23a is flush with a residual area 21a of the touch surface and a button position BP higher than the touch surface position 23TP. The operating body 2 is supported by a support member 94 via three or more deformable bodies 3 formed on the side of an outer periphery. On the basis of a result of detecting a deformation detection element 4 fixed on a displacement transmission surface 3f of the deformable body 3, an operation of pushing the touch surface 2a excluding the touch surface area 23a of the operating body movable part 23 in the button position 23BP is received as a touch operation input. An operation of pushing the touch surface area 23a of the operating body movable part 23 in the button position 23BP is received as a push button operation input. |
