PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element holding mechanism which moves along an optical axis when a photographic lens barrel is driven and which is assembled with a reduced number of parts.SOLUTION: An optical element holding mechanism is provided, which includes optical element holding means 3 for holding an optical member, movable ring holding means 2 for holding the optical element holding means 3, and cover means 1 which is integrally coupled with the movable ring holding means 2. The optical element holding means 3 is held by the movable ring holding means 2 and moves along an optical axis when a lens barrel 5 is driven by a drive ring 5a. The cover means 1 is equipped with connecting means 1a which makes a bayonet connection with connected means of the lens barrel, and rotational disengagement prevention means 1b for preventing the optical element holding means 3 from being rotationally disengaged. When the connecting means 1a is not engaged with the connected means, the optical element holding means 3 is detachably held by the lens barrel. When the connecting means 1a is engaged with the connected means, the optical element holding means 3 is held by the lens barrel such that the optical element holding means 3 can move along the optical axis when the lens barrel is driven. |
