Disclosed is a transfer equipment for a plug for seamless steel pipe which quickly and stably transfers a new plug or a depleted plug without impeding seamless steel pipe rolling. Specifically, the transfer equipment is provided with a monorail (5) disposed over a predetermined interval; an electric transfer trolley (4) with an attached carrier which travels along the monorail (5); and a casing (3) which hangs down from the carrier (4b) of the transfer trolley (4). Said casing (3) has a size which can contain one plug (1) standing upright on a plug transfer tray (2), and has tray receivers (3A) on the lower end thereof which protrude inwards in a manner which can make contact with the underside of the four corner areas of the plug transfer tray (2). |
