PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt an electromagnetic relay to changes of a voltage and a current of a load circuit through minimum design change while maintaining stability of a contact opening/closing operation of the electromagnetic relay.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay 10 includes: a movable contact 70 which is driven by an electromagnet 14; a fixed contact 68 which is arranged opposite to contact and leave the movable contact 70; a back stop 72 which stops the movable contact 70 from acting in a leaving direction from the fixed contact 68; and a back stop positioning part which arranges the back stop 72 at a position where a predetermined contact gap is formed between the fixed contact 68 and movable contact 70. According to the position of the back stop 72, the contact gap determined to a different dimension is formed between the fixed contact 68 and the movable contact 70 stopped from acting. The back stop positioning part comprises: a first side wall 44 and a second side wall 46 provided on a bobbin 30 of the electromagnet 14. |
