PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless tag capable of accurately monitoring the state of an object to be monitored.SOLUTION: A wireless tag 3 includes: input terminals 3b that are connected to a ground voltage VSS line via a switch 4; an input port section 14 that generates a data signal indicating the on/off state of the switch 4; a register 15 that holds the data signal that is generated by the input port section 14; and a transmission/reception circuit 13 that transmits the data signal held by the register 15 to a reader/writer 2 via an antenna 3a. The on/off state of the switch 4 is in conjunction with the locked/unlocked state of a thumb turn 22 of a door 20. Thus, the locked/unlocked state of the thumb turn 22 can be accurately monitored.
