PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce standby power of an individual device without deteriorating reception accuracy of emergency warning broadcast (EWS) at standby, when a plurality of broadcast receiver devices are network-connected.SOLUTION: The broadcast reception system includes a plurality of broadcast receiver devices 1a-1c each intermittently operating a receiver unit for receiving emergency warning broadcast at standby. The plurality of broadcast receiver devices 1a-1c are network-connected through a router 10. The broadcast receiver device 1a, when shifting to a standby state, acquires an intermittent operating state of other broadcast receiver devices 1b, 1c in the network. Based on the acquired intermittent operating state of the other broadcast receiver devices 1b, 1c, the broadcast receiver device 1a adjusts the intermittent operation period and the timing of the broadcast receiver device 1a and the other broadcast receiver devices 1b, 1c. |
