PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurement of the degree of wear and tear of shoes for use in running.SOLUTION: A body motion detection unit 105 measures the number of steps when a user runs. A CPU 101 computes the degree of wear and tear, which indicates the degree of wear and tear of shoes used by the user, on the basis of the number of steps measured by the body motion detection unit 105.
