PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved air-pressure type impact tool which is effective for avoiding or reducing piston pressing onto a cylinder side wall surface in the maximum compression state.SOLUTION: In an impact tool for performing hammering operation onto a material to be processed by linear movement of a tip tool at least in the longitudinal direction, providing that a piston 131 position separated mostly from the tip tool is a bottom dead center position and a position most close to the tip tool is a top dead center position, a connection rod 165 is constituted so as to be arranged in parallel with a cylinder 141 during movement from the bottom dead center position to the top dead center position. |
