PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in unit that can eliminate an impact on a backboard when inserting the plug-in unit in a slot of a shelf.SOLUTION: A plug-in unit includes: a printed circuit board 3 on which electronic components are mounted; a front plate 5 attached to the front end of the printed circuit board; a plug-in connector 7 attached to the back end of the printed circuit board and fitted to a plug-in connector mounted on a backboard inside a slot of a shelf; a stopper member 17 which is attached to the front plate and can be protruded towards the side of the front plate; and an elastic member for allowing the stopper member to protrude towards the side of the front plate. Immediately before the plug-in connector is fitted to the plug-in connector of the backboard, the stopper member protruding towards the side of the front plate abuts to a shelf frame surrounding the slot and prevents the plug-in connectors to fit with each other. |
