PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplantation apparatus capable of clamping plants which are arranged in parallel laterally and vertically with clamping instruments and widening a gap in lateral and vertical directions at once.SOLUTION: A transplantation apparatus that transplants plants between a plurality of medium boards comprises: a plurality of X-axis rails 11 each of which supports a plurality of X-axis sliders 11a, for which a plurality of clamping instruments 14 that clamp plants are individually provided, movably in a longitudinal direction; Y-axis rails 12,13 which are substantially orthogonal to the X-axis rails 11 and support each of Y-axis sliders 12a,13a provided at both ends of each X-axis rail 11, movably in a longitudinal direction; links 11b,12b,13b which respectively connect the X-axis sliders 11a and the Y-axis sliders 12a,13a in an interlocked manner; and a drive mechanism 15 which changes a gap between the clamping instruments 14 in X-axis directions and Y-axis directions by severally moving the X-axis slider 11a and the Y-axis sliders 12a,13a which are located at end portions of the X-axis rail 11 and the Y-axis sliders 12a,13a. |
