PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet separation device capable of separating a separation roller by an aimed amount of separation with respect to a transport roller, and to provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A sheet separation device includes: a transport roller 12 for transporting a sheet; a separation roller 13 coming into abutment with the transport roller and for separating the sheet at a nip; a separation roller holding member 20 for holding the separation roller through a rotating shaft 13A, and swingable with respect to a device body so as to contact and separate the separation roller against the transport roller; and biasing means 30 for biasing the separation roller holding member so that the separation roller holding member swings to an abutment direction for bringing the separation roller into abutment with the transport roller. The sheet separation device has biasing release means 40 for releasing the biasing in a biasing direction with respect to the separation roller holding member by the biasing means, and separation means for separating the transport roller and the separation roller by biasing the separation roller holding member so that the separation roller holding member swings in a separation direction for separating the separation roller from the transport roller. |
