PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing heating in a voltage converter used for an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A voltage converter 10 is a device for supplying power to accessories 33, 34 by reducing an output voltage of a main battery 3 which supplies power to a motor 8. The voltage converter 10 comprises a controller in which, when an input voltage to the voltage converter is settled within a predetermined voltage range while a temperature of the voltage converter is settled within a predetermined temperature range, an output current of the voltage converter is limited equal to or less than a first current upper limit value and when the input voltage is out of the voltage range, the output current of the voltage converter is limited to a second current upper limit value lower than the first current upper limit value. The voltage range is determined with temperature dependency where an upper limit voltage of the voltage range becomes gradually low and a lower limit voltage becomes gradually high with temperature elevation. |
