PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to increase brightness of the plasma display panel when an equal voltage is applied, by dividing a voltage level applied to two electrodes into two and then applying the two divided voltage waveforms at the same time. CONSTITUTION: One frame is classified into a plurality of sub fields which are separated into reset period, address period and sustain period. The grayscale of a panel is expressed by discharge of the plurality of sub fields. An input voltage (Vs) is divided into a first waveform and a second waveform in the sustain period, and the first and the second waveform are applied to a scan electrode and a sustain electrode respectively at the same time. |
