A method and a system for providing advertisements using a mobile terminal are disclosed. According to the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises a call event management unit for transmitting a call termination command when the call termination command is inputted from a user; a control unit for transmitting a call termination request signal to a terminal OS in response to the reception of the call termination command; the terminal OS for transmitting a call termination complete signal to the control unit after terminating the connected call in response to the reception of the call termination request signal; and an advertisement providing unit for displaying an advertisement page including at least one advertisements which can be selected by a user when an advertisement driving command is received from the control unit which receives the call termination complete signal. The present invention may provide the system and the method for providing the advertisement and capable of displaying the advertisement page including the at least one advertisements on the display unit of the mobile terminal after terminating the mobile terminal usage purpose of the user.
