The present invention provides a multilayer ceramic electronic component which includes: a ceramic body which includes a dielectric layer; first and second internal electrodes which are arranged to face each other by interposing the dielectric layer in the ceramic body; and a first external electrode which is electrically connected to the first internal electrode and a second external electrode which is electrically connected to the second internal electrode. The dielectric layer includes a thermoplastic resin and a dielectric particle formed by grinding a bulk type dielectric formed by the plastic process of the ceramic powder.
