PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a steel beam made of H-shaped steel, which can suppress increases in the weight and cost, and of which stiffening members for reinforcing the steel beam have high structural soundness and good welding workability to develop high reinforcing performance against local buckling.SOLUTION: In the reinforcement structure for a steel beam 2 made of H-shaped steel, annular steel stiffening members 5 are formed so that a relationship between a height b and a plate thickness t satisfies b≥t and a relationship between a beam depth H and an outer diameter size &phgr; of the steel beam satisfies &phgr;>2H/3. The stiffening members are provided on the face of a web 3 of the steel beam all over a plasticizing region of the steel beam. |
