PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit having reduced current consumption.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: first step-down circuits 33 and 34 that output a first internal voltage VDDN that is lower than an external power supply voltage; and second step-down circuits 35 and 36 in which switching is performed between a first mode for outputting a second internal voltage VDDD that is lower than the external power supply voltage and a second mode for outputting a third internal voltage that is lower than the first and second internal voltages. At the time of standby, the second step-down circuits are controlled to be in the second mode. At the time of standby, the current supply capabilities of either one or both of the first step-down circuits and second step-down circuits are controlled to be lower than that in a normal operation. |
