The invention relates to a valve device (I) designed as an annular auxiliary adapter for injecting gaseous fuel, an injection device (5) or ignition device (105) extending through the valve device and a cylinder head bore in the combustion chamber (9) of an internal combustion engine. The injection is carried out by means of an annular chamber (2) between the bore wall and the device arranged therein.
