PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a mobile terminal device, a display method, and a display program that are capable of suppressing deterioration in a viewer's visibility in the case of being shaken.SOLUTION: A display device 11 comprises: a display unit 24; a shake state detection unit 21 that detects information on a shake state of the display unit 24; and a control unit 22 that controls a display frame rate of an image in the display unit 24 to stepwisely or continuously become higher as a shake level is higher on the basis of the detection result of the shake state detection unit 21.
