The hearing instrument (1) has a control element (7) which is arranged in outer wall (6) of housing (2) and is connected to a signal processing device (9) for delivering control signal. Control element has thermo-resistive resistors which are arranged on outer wall of housing. An electrical comparator circuit connected to thermo-resistive resistors for altering the temperature difference between two thermoresistive resistors, so that output signal of comparator circuit is altered and is depended on control signal of the control element.
