The vehicle (1) has a recognition unit (6) for recognizing seat occupancy, and an electronic control unit (7) connected with the recognition unit and all or selected electrical seating-related comfort loads (8-11). The loads are associated with a seat or defined seat groups, and are automatically switched off when seat occupancy is not recognized. The loads are operated by a centrally operation unit, which is connected with the electronic control unit. Automatic shutdown of the load is deactivatable by a control element (12).
