The umbrella has an umbrella roof (4) arranged at a free end of an arm (3), and a bar (6) rotatable around a longitudinal axis for changing inclination of the umbrella roof. An end of the bar is connected with the umbrella roof, and another end of the bar is connected to a movable carriage (7) that is attached with a mast (1). The arm is curved and displaceable relative to the mast and connected with the carriage by a coupling element (8) such that the inclination of the umbrella roof is adjustable relative to the mast by moving the carriage along the mast.
