PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of smoothly performing recording processing.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus comprises a medium supporting part 24 for sucking and holding a rear surface of a recording medium R by a medium support surface 24a. The recording apparatus comprises: a holding member 31 for covering and holding the recording medium at a side edge in a direction nearly orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the recording medium; and a tension device 70 for pulling an end of the holding member in the conveyance direction. The tension device is arranged outside the conveyance direction to the medium supporting part and lower than the medium support surface. |
