PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce initial troubles in a ball screw in which both end faces of a nut are provided with contact seals contacting to a screw shaft to enclose the inside of the nut and which is used with grease lubrication in activation.SOLUTION: In a gap 36 being between a screw shaft 12 and a nut 14 and provided with balls 34, an oil with a base oil that is the same as grease used in activation of a ball screw is initially encapsulated as an initial encapsulation lubricant before the activation.
