PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to perform precise loop control, to simplify suction belt conveyance means, and to improve arrangement structure of loop detection means for detecting loop of a sheet, thereby reducing cost with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a secondary transfer device 40 for transferring a toner image; a fixing device 30 for fixing the transferred toner image on a sheet; a pre-fixation conveyance part 17 arranged at the center in a width direction orthogonal to a sheet conveyance direction B between the secondary transfer device 40 and the fixing device 30, to suck and convey the sheet from the secondary transfer device 40 toward the fixing device 30; a loop detection device 101 for detecting a loop formed in the sheet between the secondary transfer device 40 and the fixing device 30; and a control part 50 that controls sheet conveyance speed difference between the secondary transfer device 40 and the fixing device 30 on the basis of a detection signal of the loop detection device 101, to adjust the amount of loop of the sheet. |
