PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent processing efficiency from being reduced in summer when a surrounding temperature is high and to suitably dry a food product in winter when the surrounding temperature is low.SOLUTION: A dry warehouse for a food product comprises: a lower container 2b which is configured to store at least a compressor 41 of a heat pump 4, a condenser 43a and an evaporator 45b and has a feed port H1 and a discharge port H2; a fan 5b which is arranged in a lower space S2 of the lower container 2b and allows air inside the lower space S2 to flow through the condenser 43a and the evaporator 45b in this order; and another fan 5c which controls exhaust of the air out of the dry warehouse through the discharge port H2. A controller 8 restricts the exhaust of the air through the discharge port H2 by stopping operation of the fan 5c when a temperature inside a machine storage space S2a is equal to or lower than a first temperature and lifts restriction on the exhaust of the air by operating the fan 5c when a temperature outside the dry warehouse is equal to or higher than a second temperature.
