METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING USER INTERFACE

Disclosed is a method for controlling user interface containing multiple interface elements. The method comprises: obtaining the initiation position of the focused interface element; obtaining a first moving direction inputted; starting from the focused interface element, selecting at least one of the interface elements in the direction of the first moving direction; moving the said multiple interface elements in a second direction opposed to the first direction to move the focused interface element to the initiation position. The said controlling method keeps the position of the focus moveless when the focus is moved to other interface elements. Therefore, users need not turn eyes to follow the moving position of the focus frequently, thereby releasing users' eyes. In addition, an apparatus for controlling user interface is provided in this invention.
