Disclosed are a system and a method for processing offline written confirmation using a short message service. The system comprises: a contact point storage part for storing contact point information of people who receive a written confirmation request, which is provided from a request terminal of a person who requests written confirmation with respect to a work needing the written confirmation; a work content receiving part for receiving work content needing the written confirmation from the request terminal; a confirmation requesting part for transmitting the work content needing the written confirmation to receiving terminals of people who receive the written confirmation request via a short message service by using the contact point information; and a confirmation information transceiver for receiving the written confirmation information from the receiving terminals via the short message service, storing the received information, and transmitting the received written confirmation information to the request terminal.
