PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removal mechanism which is useful for improving convenience and a cleaning capability.SOLUTION: A dust removal mechanism comprises: a filter which is supported by a plurality of ribs; a frame which axially rotates with respect to the filter; and a dust removal member which is rockably supported through an elastic member to the frame, and intermittently abuts the ribs for performing dust removal of the filter when the frame axially rotates with respect to the filter. The dust removal member includes: a main body part which is supported to the frame; and an abutment part which extends from the main body part towards the filter and abuts the ribs when the frame axially rotates. The abutment part is formed to abut the ribs so that an angle formed by the abutment part and the ribs in a rotating direction is an acute angle, where a biasing force from the elastic member is not exerted on the main body part of the dust removal member and the abutment part is in contact with the ribs when the frame axially rotates in a predetermined direction, and to abut the ribs so that the angle formed by the abutment part and the ribs in the rotating direction is an obtuse angle, where the biasing force from the elastic member is not exerted on the main body part of the dust removal member and the abutment part is in contact with the ribs when the frame axially rotates in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction. |
